THAT PLACE WHERE I POST THINGS

This reminds me of two— oddly related— stories.

1) When I was younger I remember going to the Centerville show with a book I was devouring from the library (YA fantasy). I wish I could remember the title, it was like The Golden Apple or something, and it had something to do with some fantasy society and this kid’s mom was from a secret culture or something and I seem to remember something about a horse birthmark that was also on a rock. Idk. But then I left it there, and my dad had to go back and get it, because it was a library book.

2) On tour in 07 when the last book came out, we LUCKILY had a Walmart stop the day after. I was afraid the copies would be completely sold out, but luckily they still had several pallets-full piled up, and it was the first thing I picked up in the store. I then stayed up on the bus reading it until 2 am and I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE EVER DO THAT ON TOUR. 

And then I was really confused when I saw the movie this summer because I was apparently half asleep when I read the ending and I didn’t quite remember it as it actually happened. (My ending was slightly more awesome?)
